And as Im lying here in my bedroom
Thinking I could stay awake
And I wonder and I wonder
Is this the way you'd have done it all
And still I ask the question
When does change happen in our path
But still I'm left to wishing
Of where and when I'd see you again
Or where you'd be tonight
Where you'd be tonight
Where you'd be tonight
And I'm standing down in the streetlight
Thinking I could make this moment last
One more time
And I wonder, and I wonder
As your last words ring in the dark
She said
Some would say that to fall and fail
To find your feet
To get up and get out on your own
To run in to your life
To run into your light
I can feel it
To run into your life
I can feel it
To run into your light
And as Im lying here in my bedroom
Knowing that I'd stay awake
On this night
And I wonder, and I wonder
When does change take the place of love
She said
Some would say that to fall and fail
To find your feet
To get get up and get out on your own
To find your way back
On your own you're left believing
That a one way trip has no goodbye
One more step behind the other
No looking glass
No reason why
Come back to us
If you can hear this from there
And a promise we kept
For you taking these chances
x8
When you come back to your home
When you come back to your love
When you come back to the place that changed us
After I discovered GUNSHIP with UNICORN, I went through all their material in a rush. They're whole discography is great, and I think this is the greatest. This album haunts me. I can't listen to it once. Even if I turn it off, I still hear it echoing in the back of my mind. GUNSHIP has a mastery of the bridge that reaches the level of mastery in this album that's just unrivaled. If you get only one album from GUNSHIP, get this one. Mailanka
I could be incorrect on this but I believe this artist is influenced by both Joy Division and New Order (judging by the musician's title and the Track "Shallow Play") Don't sleep on this album; he's going to be an absolute legend. mrp1per
On their 10th record, the Glasgow-based group serves up more wonderfully menacing, gothy synthpop, perfect for dungeon dancing. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 19, 2023
